EU Authorised Representative Services
For consumer products
As specialists in European product compliance, we act as your EU Authorised Representative and handle the basic technical file and labelling details, with volume discounts for larger catalogues.
Year 1: €199 per product for catalogues of 1–3 products. Renewal: €119 per product/year.
You need to fully delegate regulatory compliance.
Send us the information and documents you have. We review them and ask you for anything missing. You will not need to fill in technical documents or waste time entering data into a platform. We handle the documentation to make the process easy, straightforward and quick.
Before you commit, we confirm in writing what we will do and how much it will cost.
Year 1 and renewal do not cost the same
Year 1: the initial work.
We review your product and documentation, prepare the basic technical file, formalise the mandate and provide the labelling details.
Renewal: your representation stays active.
We maintain your representation, retain your documentation and handle requests from authorities. The initial setup is already complete, so the annual fee is lower.
The result:
You pay more for the initial work and less for ongoing maintenance.
EU Authorised Representative pricing
The EU Authorised Representative cost is calculated per product. Larger catalogues receive a lower unit rate. The rate for your tier applies to all contracted products, not just those above the previous threshold.

Base rates. The final price is subject to an assessment of the product and the documentation work required.
The final price depends on the product’s complexity and risk. We review your product and available documentation to confirm the scope and price before you commit. Laboratory testing and third-party costs are quoted separately.

Discuss my catalogueWhat Year 1 includes
Product and documentation review
We start by reviewing your product, its intended use and the documents you have. This lets us confirm the work required. If evidence is missing, we explain what is needed and how it affects the scope.
Basic technical file
We review, prepare and organise the basic technical file for each product. You do not have to prepare it yourself. The proposal specifies the documents included.
We review the technical documentation and reports available. If necessary evidence is missing, we explain what you need and how to obtain it.
Mandate and labelling details
The manufacturer authorises us in writing to act as its EU representative. We then provide our details and instructions for including them in the product labelling.
Document retention and support with authorities
We retain your documentation and keep it available when needed. If an authority requests information about your product, we receive and manage the request within the agreed service scope.
What renewal includes
Keep your representation active without starting again.
- We continue as your EU Authorised Representative.
- We continue retaining your documentation and keeping it available.
- We continue handling requests from authorities within the mandate.
Changing supplier, components or the product? Let us know. We will explain whether anything needs updating and what it would cost.
EU representation for consumer products
At Conformity Point, we act as the EU Authorised Representative for manufacturers and brands outside the EU, including the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries, selling consumer products in the European Union. We work with toys, electrical and electronic products and radio equipment, including products with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
How to appoint us as your EU Authorised Representative
Four steps. You do not need to have every document ready before contacting us.
- 1
Send the information you have
Share the product’s intended use, manufacturer details, photographs, labelling and the documents available.
- 2
Confirm the scope and price
We explain which documentation is needed, how many products count and how much the service costs.
- 3
Formalise the service and prepare the documentation
We formalise the service agreement and start the agreed documentation work. You do not fill in the technical documents.
- 4
Receive the documents and representation details
We provide the documents and our representation details. You can use them once the activation conditions we have confirmed are met.
EU Authorised Representative FAQs
You may not. It depends on the product and who places it on the EU market. If an EU-established operator already fulfils the relevant functions for your product, you may not need another provider. We review this before recommending the service.
Yes. Send us what you have. We review it, identify what is missing and explain in the proposal which work we will handle.
The rates include the basic technical file within the agreed scope. The final price depends on the product’s complexity and risk. The proposal specifies the documents and work included before you commit.
We count products according to their characteristics and technical differences. We do not automatically treat every colour or size as a separate product, and we cannot assume that all variants belong together. We confirm this after reviewing your catalogue.
Yes. We provide the agreed representation and documentation for the products we accept. Whether Amazon or another marketplace accepts your listing also depends on its own requirements and review; acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
Once the contracting and activation conditions we confirm have been met.
Our service also includes the functions of the EU Responsible Person under the GPSR when needed, at no additional cost. You do not need to purchase the two services separately.
For more information, read our article on the differences between the GPSR Responsible Person and the EU Authorised Representative.
No. Representation does not replace the product’s conformity assessment. Laboratory testing and third-party costs are quoted separately where needed. For support with the assessment, see our CE marking consulting services.
